Thread Starter | Mackie HR624 VS Events TR6?
Hello I'm using a pair of Events TR6 right now. And I'm thinking of upgrading to Mackie HR624. Is that a good choice or the right way to go? If you have expenrience with them, please do let me know what you think of them. Thanks! |

I have a pair of HR624's that used to be my main pair. I upgraded to JBL LSR's which I love. But I kept the 624's and like them with a sub. Monitors are so subjective, so nothing beats listening to them in your room if possible. But I was just at someone's big studio and they kept switching to their 624's when other "Big Name" speakers were available. It's that NS10 thing, you get used to a speakers vibe for translation reasons. If no sub is being used, I like the HR824s better.
