| They were located in the Redwood City area near the Ampex plant and repackaged older Ampex recorders into their roll around racks. They also used Ampex transports with different electronics ( Inovonics?) to build multitracks. I seem to remember that they also build tape duplicators also. I visited them in the late seventies when I was looking for some parts and toured their facilities. I knew one of the salesmen and he told me that a lot of their rebuilds went to Latin America. They also carried other lines of gear and were an early pro audio dealer. That's about all I've got as far as info. |
