Thread Starter | Best-service Galaxy 2 piano software
Hi you all, I am at the point to buy some good and decent piano software. First my opinion was that there could not anything beat Ivory . But that was before I heard the new follow up Galaxy Steinway 5.1. I listened to the the samples of this new Galaxy 2 and since then I walk arrount with the doubt wheter to buy the Ivory or the Galaxy 2 piano. In my opinion the sound of Galaxy 2 has got some more warmth then the Ivory piano. Allthough this is the new version perhaps someone is using it allready. Galaxypianos Greatings Paul |

Garritan has been working with Steinway on an authorized soft instrument. It's long overdue, but hopefully will appear soon. Garritan Orchestral Libraries HOME Page Last edited by Kyle Ashley; 24th July 2007 at 07:39 PM.. Reason: spelling |

Quit interesting if it will works as a full stand alone plug-in and not only on kontact player I can mail them for details So anyone else that has allready heard the sounds and can judge about the quality. The Galaxy 2 has got the WARP function also. In my opinion you can better have a few sounds from top quality rather then having a effect engine also. Ivory is consentrating on the four piano's But the sounds of Galaxy 2 are clear, warm and detailed so that is why I don't know what to buy. | |

I looked at the website but I couldn't get the trailers to load. It doesn't appear that they have a trial or demo software yet which may slow down their success. Over the years I've found a handful of VST instruments that just don't run in my DAW, and I certainly would never buy any software unless it's proven to work for me. But....I do plan to check back on the galaxy stuff soon as I'm looking for a top notch piano VSTi. |
