Differences between GML 8200 MKI/II?

Can someone please list what the differences are between the early version 8200s, and the latest revision?

I believe the old version doesn´t have the lowest/highest bands switchable to shelving mode + over the years gml improved the parts for more longevity.

Ask Jeffrey Warren at gml - a very nice + knowledgable guy.

Appreciate the reply Shaman.

Can anyone else confirm this? Any additional changes not yet listed?

Is this what you're looking for? (George M's answer on basically the same question as yours):

Quote:
Over the years the internal design of the 8200 has changed only once. Around 1988 we changed from an internal architecture where we used monolithic op-amps as feedback amplifiers around the main "equalizer amp" stage to one where we used the same discrete amps that we use everywhere else. I thought I could hear a difference, and it was better.

Otherwise, it's only been keeping up with potentiometer and other parts manufacturers obsoleting things from time to time.

George
Best,
RR.

Also to activate each channel MKI used 2x Toggle switches against 2x push buttons on MKII
