Rosetta 200 or Big Ben? / Improve existing converters or get sweet new ones

I have a Motu 2408 MKII, which I feel is one of the weakest links of my recording chain. I've found that I use only 1 or 2 channels of recording simultaneously most of the time.

I'm shooting for quality at this point and am wondering would the Big Ben make an enormous difference clocking the Motu converter or would the Rosetta 200 be a wiser option. Ideally both, right? But unfortunately money is an object these days. It would be nice if the Big Ben gave the Motu converters a new lease on life, but I don't know how big the improvement can be.

Any thoughts? Anyone happen to use a Big Ben or something in the same league to clock converters in the Motu2408 mkII league?

Thanks.

I have the Rosetta 44.1/48. Would the Big Ben make a noticable difference? Or should I put my $2,000 into a mic?

The clocking will help all your clocking, the rosetta will benifit,
and Daw internally , You D/A if you have crappy ones will greatly help that

Rosetta 200 ...
A huge overlooked part is in the analog side,
combined with a great clock,
gives stability AND warmth.
