Cheapest Vocal Booth Ever

Guys,

Check this out: a guy is selling this marvel of engineering on EBay. Basically a bunch of tubes and some foam. Unbeliavable!

lol @ last three feedbacks

service was fine, product is a complete disappointment - but not seller's fault.

Negative feedback rating the vocal booth isn't that sturdy. photos were a bit misleading.

I've to admit: the guy has balls. It would be a funny joke if some suckers hadn't already paid 450$ to learn their lesson: don't buy stuff that looks crappy, even when photographed next to an expensive piano.

HAHAHAHA........some people just see the foam and think its legitimate. It's just like people walking into a studio and seeing pro tools with a mac and cinematic display with a nice console but have a crap producer or engineer.

actually i dont think thats a good analogy but it's funny either way.

We use 2 1/2" thick SOUNDFOAM for superior sound control, not the standard 2" most companies use.

Cool.....

Yeah, that kind of got my attention, too. The extra half inch is a sure sign of quality. LOL

I've experimented with my own homemade booths kinda like this... but I just don't get it. I always get a muffled (singing in the corner) sound and at the same time seems to exaggerate the sibilance. I found placing it behind he source works better even if you pick up some room.

14" Portable Sound Booth for vocals and voice over - eBay (item 200370219988 end time Aug-11-09 10:43:23 PDT)

i guess its fine as long as you stick to recording garden gnomes and leprechauns...

this is one of the funniest threads I have seen
who actually buys these things???

I dont understand how anyone (even with little knowledge of recording)
buys these things to improve their vocal recording ha ha
