Smile BLA MOD Samples - please post here!

Please, post here your (A/B) samples or a simple work(record) did with 001 , 002 , Motu , MAudio , etc.. All moded by BLA
I would like to hear your experience with the MOD!
I know there are samples at BLA site , but i would like to here yours!

What can you say about "before and after" ?

This thread has been done like...a million times. They do great work. They make horrible junk into usable...junk. I had my 002 done with the full mod. It sound a lot better, but it's still an 002. You can only do so much.

is this just regarding the convertion quality or do you mean the overall performance?

hey amishsixstringe, i know they do a GREAT work ..
I sent my 002 to a full mod+
Will be back end of month..
but, this thread is to post samples
done with any kind of MOD(BLA),
i would like to know what people think with their MOD's..

I had the analog stage and clock done. To me my external preamps sound alot better. The stereo imaging is better and I can also hear EQ changes better. Until I get enough cash for another Converter adat in to the 002r, this mod really helped things for me.

The preamps IMO are way more usable also. It's a good deal and you should be satisfied.

For the price of a Digi 002 and the full mod package, it seems to make more sense and less hassle to just buy a used M-Audio interface and an Apogee Rosetta 200 (or even an old Apogee PSX-100)

1 - MOTU 2408 MK3 analog stages(MOD)
1 - MOTU 2408 MK3 analog stages(MOD) + microclock (BLA)

The source was recorded by me(in my Home Studio) , and the A/B done by Mark Stephens (gearslutz member)
