ampwares.com experiences

Hi. I'm very worried because I placed an order for Tolex and parts at ampwares.com on june 11th, and my order hasn't arrived. I tried calling and I always get the answering machine. I have emailed several times and have had no luck.

I'm wondering if any gearslutz have shopped there and could share some of your experiences. My order was for $180 bucks, and I don't know if I got by them. In case I was, does anybody know trust worthy, reputable online stores that carry white tolex? Thanks, everyone.

ampwares OK

Hi Rodrigo,
I ordered the very same article (plus a vintage footswitch) for a Twin Reverb and I had to wait a while, about 6 weeks if I remember correctly. In the end the stuff arrived, but I too got to that point where I was wondering if it would come at all. It did have further to come to me (I live in Amsterdam).
I wouldn't lose all hope yet but it sucks to have to wait that long.

Thanks, Van Speijk

There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, I hope things turn out ok. I even emailed them asking to cancel my order and to return the funds, cause I became desperate. But I still haven't got a reply. I don't know what to expect.

My order is to be shipped to Texas, BTW. So I would assume it shouldn't take as long as Europe.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I ordered a spring reverb tank for a Fender Blues Junior on the 6th, and still no word, no delivery. Did you also just end up getting your items months after the fact?

These people are like a f*ckin mystery company. My reverb tank showed up today.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy about it, but my emails went unanswered, and it took damn long enough... not as bad as the OP, but still

I've been waiting over a month for some chicken head knobs.
Hope they come.

Takes for ever, but all my stuff comes. I'd feel better if they charged my card when they fill the order rather then when the order is placed....

Yeah but then you would never know they even had the order. At least after they charge you at least you know they know you exist

You had luck ; I have ordered them parts to build myself an amp, something like $700, ten month ago, and never heard of them since, despite many emails and unanswered phone calls. I have spoken to my bank but it was too late and I haven't got the money back !

so NEVER AGAIN, they are a bunch of THIEVES / CROOKS
