Home Studio Setup

I'm purchasing some gear for a home studio, I am starting fresh. I raed alot of reviews and threads posted here about these items but a lot of them were very borderline. So let me list the equipment and the application I am looking to use it for.

Yamaha HS80M Monitors + Yamaha SW10 Sub
Digi 003 Rack + Music Production Toolkit (more tracksss)
Focusrite Liquid Channel
Blue Baby-Bottle Mic (already own this).

I am planning on buying another mic for vocals.

Mainly I am using this as a pre-production setup, the reason i chose the liquid channel was to find some good pres to accompany my baby-bottle and be diverse for multiple artist (is this a good way to go?)

We mainly record finished products at high-end studios so it really doesn't make a difference, But i do want the ability to still have an awesome finished sound with this setup if i take it to just get mixed on an HD system.
