| TDIF Questions with 2408 mkIII I don’t use TDIF for anything, and have really never had to, so I don’t know much about it (besides for it being Tascam’s digital format). I stick with AES, SPIF and ADAT, but I recently got a Trak2 with a TDIF AMBUS card in it, and could connect it to a 2408 mkIII via TDIF (as well as AES to my other gear). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Question is what do you guys think of TDIF? Being digital, I guess there is no real difference – but I’m wondering about any format differences that I might need to be aware of. I’ll be using it at 96k. Does the track count go down with higher sample rates like ADAT does? Anything particular to TDIF and the MOTU 2408 mrkIII that's a potential gotcha? Thanks -
