| Lives for gear | Should I be clocking with HEDD or Digi 192 I/O ? You know, I've had a HEDD 192 for over a year and for some reason I never thought that maybe I should be clocking off of it instead of the digi 192. When I first installed it I just connected as a slave to the digi 192 and forgot about it. Should I reverse this ? Is it mo betta with the HEDD as the master and digi as the slave ? Thanks! Of course if I win that big ben that will be the sheezznitz..... ![]() |

| Definitely give it a shot. There's a subtle but nice difference when I've clocked HD to the HEDD. Something in the spaciousness of the image..... In any case, the HEDD can sometimes ber a bit finicky with an external clock and seems to really like being on its internal clock. I've had some jitter problems before with the HEDD on an external clock. It's real easy to simply swap the cables. Give it a shot and use your ears. You might like it! |

| Gear nut | Definitely clock with the head... MUCH MUCH tighter bass response, and better stereo image over all. I know it's hard to believe, but I did a blind fold test with a few engineers. And not only could we all easily distinguish the Hedd clock everytime, but we were really surprized at how superior it was. |
