What Your Favourite Hardware MULTI Effect Processors?

I love my Lexicon MX200.. Doesnt matter that I bought plugins worth thousands of dollars - I keep going back to the MX200 hardware..

Now Im thinking of getting another Lexicon effect box or something else..

Looking for some inspiration and suggestions here..

What are your favourite hardware effect processors - cheap or expensive: Anything Goes!

Lets hear it! ;-)

Eventide Eclipse.

This was quite an extravagant purchase for me but I've never regretted it for a minute. Wish I'd bought an Eventide years ago.

Not sure if Iwould call the Eclips a multi fx even though I have one and love it too.

Actually getting into a Lexicon MPX1 at the momment. Lots of FX chained together.

Kurzweil KSP8. Biggest bang for the buck out there. For the money it's a no brainer.

I think having something like an Eventide H3000 around makes for some interesting FX that otherwise wouldn't come from your typical reverb/delay processor.

I find that using a H3000 during the writing process can produce some really cool textures and moods. You can be very creative as it can do some pretty whacky effects. It can actually inspire a part for a song just by playing through the presets. It's also great during mixing for the same reason.

Plus one on the Eclipse.

It had never occurred to me *not* to call it a multi-effects unit, although I note that Eventide don't actually use that term to describe it. But it's a dual engine process capable of a multitude of effects. ...How would you describe it?

Meanwhile, we also recently picked up one of the Kurzweil Mangler units, which I'm enjoying so far (still getting acquainted with it...).

The TC Electonic FireworX is my favorite out of what I own... especially since you put effects in a user defined grid layout, to me this is the ultimate in "multi-effects" processing. That being said, I've been long considering buying an Eventide Orville or an H8000 and I'm close to doing it (just need to decide if that is where I want to put my money instead of other gear.) But I suspect I will still want to keep my FireworX even after buying an H8000!

+1 for the Eventide h3000, Sometimes when things are in a little slouch, I turn it on, and myself or a client will all of a sudden freak out and get inspired again. It's like sponge for guitar solos!

Just checked out the h3000, does indeed look cool.

Can only find 2 used ones in my area.. ;-)

I friggin love the reverbs on simple effects on my mx200.. thinking of getting the mx400.. just more of the same.. 4 ins and outs. ;-)

Also looking for something insane.. that can really mess up a sound in interesting ways.. The H3000 seem to be a good one for that.. :-)
