Sander,

Besides Swede's advice to post in my forum (thanks, Swede) also see the Acoustics FAQ, second in the list on my Articles page:

If 8x5 meters is what you have, than I would suggest one control room and one recording room...

now we made it bigger to 10 x 5... but we really need one bigger control room+recordiingroom, and onw small controlroom+recrding room... thats our needs anyway...

my main concern is how the rooms should be(draw a plan) and how to isolate the rooms from each other properly...

is there any good software i could do experiment some room configurations with?

or does aanyone if you has a clue...i saw this plan-pictures and john slaysers page often... any help is very very appreciated...

im glad someone has reponded yet...so thx to you guys...maybe you can even help me a little more...thx a lot

XL,

10x5m can work for one control room, a recording room and perhaps a little iso. I think it's impossible to cram 2 CR and 2 RR's into that space...

What do you think the inside dimensions of the larger CR and RR should be?

I think something like 5x4,5 for the CR and 5x5,5 for the RR can work, but still is rahter small... Remember, the walls are also going to eat up some space and perhaps you need some storage, entry hall, WC?

Good luck,
Dirk
