Thread Starter | Clocking question? Digi,HEDD.D8B I have a HEDD hooked up to a D8B..using the HEDD as a master clock. There is no clock in on my masterlink so I have it hooked up to the HEDD AES. The question I have is...I have audio passing in and out of my PT via adat opticals into the d8b. I don't have wordclock/superclock hooked to the adat bridges. Digi said that the optical pipes at short runs would be sufficient. This doesn't seem right. Anyone? Thanks, Tim |

Thread Starter | kent- No USD here. Been using my Hedd as a master clock hooked to D8B baypassiong the D8B master apogee clock. I guess I'd have to get a genex type distrobution box to get into PT via the adat 24 bridge...it only takes super clock......Also wondering if the size of the otical cables make a difference as well as quality.
