New Haven Area
Any of you have any guitar luthiers to recommend for adjustments, etc.?
Last one I used was caught slamming some guys ax on the bench in frustration...didn't feel comfortable returning.

Grew up in Wethersfield, but moved the hell away as fast as humanly possible. Actually used to be a stagehand at the Meadows Music Theater, or the CTNow.com Music Center, or whatever the hell it's called now.

If its an Americana sorta thing, something you'd play through a Vox or a Delux reverb, Mike Mascagna in Orange. He works out of his house. I don't have the number handy.

Some of the Philly suburbs on the NJ side are nice working class communities with a lot of growth potential, so I scored my little 3 bedroom ranch about 15 minutes east of Philly, and just finished building my project studio in the basement.
As far as broads go, everyone knows what Jersey girls are like. And it's totally true. Imagine South Windsor girls and multiply by 3.
I go up to CT every now and then to visit the folks. Last time I was up there, a landmark of my childhood had been bulldozed. Remember the Hartford Drive-In on the Berlin Turnpike? I grew up right near there, saw my first horror flick on that screen, got into fights there, womanized there, drank there.... now it's going to be condos. Really a damn shame.

Getting chased by cops for doing smoke shows and smoking pot and drinking behind the old Service Merchandise... good times. Haven't been to the Pike in 6 or 7 years...

| I'm from PA, but went to school in Hartford and moved to new Britain for a few years. I'm now in Brooklyn, but I miss the Closeness and tightness of the CT scene, It's cool to have a few spots (Sully's, Hungry Tiger) that is open enough to allow real collaboration and a chill hang for musicians.

Originally from Middletown, Ct. Live in The metro Miami South Florida area...played bass for Jeff Pitchell & Texas Flood for a couple of years when I was back in Conn., for a couple of years.
The funny thing about Ct., is that here are an abundance of great musicians, but not many famous ones. Off the top of my head we have Al Anderson + NRBQ, Michael Bolton, and more recently John Mayer.
Best,
Kenny |

Hey Guys
Just moved from Greenwich (was there for three years) to Huntington, L.I. As far as famous musicians in Ct. go, don't forget that Roger Glover has lived in Greenwich for many years...
