Thread Starter | Recomended recording box to upgrade to from firestudio?
Hi Guys. I am about to get my third replacement Firestudio to deal with weird noise issues and i am thinking of upgrading. I am just wondering about RME and Lynx stuff. The RME line publish a higher clock jitter spec tha the forestudio but I am just wondering if the firestudios spec is overly gracious? The Fireface 400 seems appealing to me as I have some really nice outboard mic pres and dont require the 8 on the firestudio. Also the lynx 2 looks like a real nice product but they do not pubish any jitter psecs at all. Just looking for professional opinions on what direction to go in here.... Thanks
