Help with clean headphone/speaker monitoring

I have logic, a rosetta 200, symphony card, and some adam p22's. What I don't have is any great way to control the volume of my monitors externally. Also I want to be able to use some headphones in the mix. I don't want anything that will change the quality of my signal chain, and can't afford something from dangerous or coleman, or even a central station this month!(I'm saving for a 1073 DPA!) I was considering an ATTY from A designs, but don't know how I could add headphones to the mix. I'm also considering utilising my maestro software and monitoring headphones through my mac, but I don't want to deal with too many latency issues. Any affordable ideas ? What about the sm audio m-patch2? This will only need to function for a couple months until I can afford a high end monitoring solution. Thank you guys for any advice or tips!

I've looked at the Mackie but have read that the sound is really affected by it in a negative way. Have you heard that?
