MY OWN NIGHTMARE

Hi everyone, this is another "I need advice on studio gear" thread.
I currently own a Digi 002 and a pair of Mackie 824 speakers, a SM57,58,an AKG C4000b, many plugins, a great drumkit with great cymbals, a small studio with good acoustics and a lot of creativity to spare :)

I love jazz and all the sub genres but I will be recording
alot of commercial music as well. I know I won´t have the dough
to build the dream studio, so I´m gonna rely heavily on, making sure
I have the absolute minimum for tracking and mixing. I will also be messing
around with Drumagog/BFD drum samples etc...

I need advice on:

1- WHERE to buy gear in the US and UK
and
2- WHAT to buy.

Here´s what I´ve came up with on my own.
1- A high end converter (Apogee or Aurora Lynx)
2- A pair of Peluso 2247 or another resonably affordable mic pair
3- A 2 channel mic pre (I really need help on this one). Would a
TUBE-TECH MP 1A MP-1A MP1A Stereo Mic Pre be a nice purchase ?
By the way, this first purchase will have to be made in the UK so I´m basically looking for stuff on ebay.co.uk . I´ve also found another affordable unit, a DRAWMER 1960 Mic Pre Amp Vacuum Tube Compressor.

Is there anything missing in my signal chain ? Your help will be very much appreciated.
