Thread Starter | Convolution Reverb Settings For Guitar Cab Impulses?
I'm using TL Space, but this would apply to any convolution reverb. When using guitar cab impulses, what should the settings in the reverb plugin be? I have Wet 100%, Dry 0%, Decay 0%. Is that correct? |

I don't have TL Space, but I use various convolution reverbs with cabinet impulses. 100% wet is the way to go. These impulses are usually fairly short, so you usually want to hear the full length of the impulse, and not apply any envelope of any sort. I don't know if "Decay = 0%" is correct for your app. I would expect decay to be set at 100% to get the full length, but maybe that's just a naming thing within TL Space. Whatever sounds good, is good.

You're right. In TL Space 100% Decay allows the full impulse. All other settings are left in the default positions. Thanks Kiwiburger! thumbsup |
