Musically Challanged? US Gov't to the rescue.

Seems like the US Gov't has developed a device that goes in the bell of a bugle and plays Taps at the press of a button. It looks like a cone mute and cost $50,000 to develop. The end is near.

So this is why I fear audits every year. When I die, someone take a boombox and play "Stairway to Heaven". (or Highway to Hell, however you look at it)

I don't know about you, but I'd like to audit the gov't to see how my tax dollars are being spent. $50K buys a lot of music lessons.

I remember how amazed I was nearly 30 years ago that there were actually people making there living in military bands primarily playing taps at funerals. Keeping your shoes polished was as big a part of the gig as playing.

Looks like we're fixin' to order up a bunch of these.

Coulda put that war money into school music programs, but then we'd all have to buy those damn japanese hybrid cars.

Well, even though it cost 50k to develop, it doesn't mean that each one will cost that.

Hmm..., but knowing the military, each one will probably cost more than 50k.
