Broken NS-10M ?

Hi Guys! What d you think?

I found left speaker have less bass response and more mids that second one.Switching the cables, position or amp channels have no effect on this.I have a matched pair, not too old (one of the last series)powered with hafler p3000...

Broken woofer or??

Does it seem to 'buzz' on certain frequencies?

PhilE : no, no buzz
just they sounds different as hell.....but i dont like the sound from that honky-without- bass one.

i heard some series sounds bad..

look at this from ebay :
"They are fully working and are some of the nicest sounding (if you can call NS10's nice) pairs I have had. They do not sound clapped out like so many you hear"

Yamaha still sells all the parts from drivers to box and X-overs. Start working out what is broken and replace that part.

Sorry- if there's no buzz it cant be what happened to mine a few weeks back- crack in the braided conect wire... feaked me out and my tech wandered in with a soldering iron warmed the braid up and it's all good again now! Just redistributed the solder on it I guess!!
Sorry I cant help with this one though.
