Will bed bases work as traps?

I have two units that are from the bass of a bed, the kind that have a drawer built in on each side. The wooden framework is quite light and all the material is very breathable. I'm thinking that aside from whatever the small amount of stuffing and might already absorb that if I stuffed the drawers with rockwoll they'd make some pretty decent traps. They actually don't look too bad either, in fact they look like old school bass traps. I've heard that matresses make good traps (is that true?) but never a bed base. Anyone tried this? Whatcha reckon?
Any thoughts Eric?!

Not likely because the solid frame will block sound from getting to the rock wool. Your best bet is to stick with the tried and true methods that are known to work.
