Help me choose a mic for my voice

Hey Guys--
I could use your opinions on something if you've got a minute. I'm trying to decide which of my two LD condensors fits my voice better, and I made an MP3 of each of them so I could get some other opinions. I sang the "Star-Spangled Banner" since it's fairly short and uses a decent amount of range. Please overlook the imperfections of the performances; I just did a couple of quick takes for this purpose and they ain't perfect by any stretch, and there are a few technical issues as well (occasional clipping, plosives, etc.), but I think it's good enough to get a good idea of the sound of each mic. Mic #1 is pretty neutral, and Mic #2 is a bit more hyped. I'll wait to reveal what they are so no one goes in with any preconceived notions. The music style of my band is melodic Metal, so there will be a lot of high singing and soaring over the guitars & drums.

Here are the clips:

Thanks a million!!
