I've had pretty good results from Discmakers. I also use 2 other places- the first is a Canadian outfit called Healey Disc (Healey Disc Manufacturing / www.healeydisc.com. They had good prices and did an excellent job for one of my clients.

The other folks I use are here in LA- a broker called CDS (DVD duplication, DVD replication, DVD authoring, CD duplication, CD replication by CDS) They send their discs out to JVC and I believe Sonopress, then they get them back and do all their own printing. I've had excellent service from them in the past as well.

I'll also add that in almost all cases, I'll go with better quality than better price. The discs are a reflection on you and with a couple thousand of them sitting around, you want to make darned sure they are exactly what you want and sound exactly as you want.

I like Discmakers. I've used them for my last couple albums. The only bad thing that I would say about them, is that their graphic design leaves alot to be desired. Make sure you have your own design, and a clear presentation of what you want the final product to look like, because they suck in that area.

We do cd/dvd duplication also, with quick turnaround (2k 4 business days). We use quality media and we do full color thermal print directly on the disc (no labels). The quality is photorealistic. I have some sample on myspace in the pic section you can check out.

I'm a producer so i understand the importance of TURNAROUND TIME & GOOD QUALITY on a project. Pm me if interested.
