Home Studio Set Up - Help Required

Hi
I currently have Nuendo on PC with a Multiface 2 by RME and also just got a Yamaha 02R with CD8-AT and also CD8-ADS.
My current gear besides this is an ISA-430 Focusrite PreAmp with no digital option and an array of SYnths (say about 15 eg. Kurzweil/Rolands/Korgs/Rhodes/Emu etc).
I do primarilly keys and alot of Vocals. I am interested to find out if someone would tell me how to get the best out of my system, considering I have so many synths, and i really want most of them on and ready to hear, as it saves so much time during composing and trying to look for sounds.
I would appreciate your help
Thanks very much
CJ

Hi,

I'm pretty much in the same boat... I rig all my h/w synths and outboard mainly via PATCHBAYS, so they're hooked up to channels on my anaologue desk. Then all I need to do is load Cubase SX, select the MIDI ports (which I set as a template / default performance), and the appropriate synth plays.

Simple

Cheers,
Peter
