Seventh Circle N72 vs. Great River M*NV

I am on the verge of pushing the "purchase" button on one of these preamp options.

I hear a lot of good about both pre's, and virtually no negatives.
And, they are both Neve-a-likes.

One thing to note, I would have no problem building the N72. I would purchase the rack unit and pwr supply. It's obvious the N72 would be the cheaper option.

I am more concerned with what will give "better" results. Anybody here own/use both of these pre's?

Thanks!

They are both equally 'better' pres in my opinion. Though I prefer the N72 you really can't lose with either.

Well I opted for 2 N72's and 2 A12's.
I plan on buying 2 more SCA preamps. But first I want to see if I want more A12's N72's or maybe try a C88 and a J99.... Most likely though, I will probably fill it the rest of the way with A12's for drums.
