Was sad to hear that Richard Harris passed away. The song "MacArthur Park" and the album it was on "A Tramp Shining", bring back many childhood memories, including actually living directly across the street from said park! Not to mention all the great film/stage performances Richard Harris either left on celluoid or other people's memories... Anyone else a fan? Chris |

Just remembered to mention that, yes, I played "the old men playing checkers by the trees" there at MacArthur Park. Chris |

Ah, so you're the one who left the cake out in the rain! I have that record but I have to admit that I never made the connection that it was THAT Richard Harris (ie Dumbledore) until I read his obit yesterday. What a strange strange tune. Strange park too.

And never had that recipe again. Greatly admire Jimmy Webb's tunesmithing BTW. Chris |
