Contact Dan Alexander (search on google, he has his own site). That sidecar was in his posession for a while, he may have even been responsible to building the sidecar from API modules. He sold it on ebay a few years ago. Get in touch with him, see if you can verify who bought the console from him and ask him about the modules in it. I'd say he'll be able to tell you everything you need to know.

His site was one I was using to try and find information on this sidecar. Thanks for the heads up on him having had it before. I have sent an e-mail and we'll see if he/they remember it. I've also sent the seller an e-mail asking a few questions.

I need a little help. I bid on this API sidecar on e-bay the other day and was outbid but have now been contacted about a second chance. I bid without much knowledge of the modules in it and now am unsure what it is. I see 13 line amps but I don't know what the 18 511T MODULES W/ JENSEN MIC TRANNYS are. I misread that as 512's and can't find anything at all on 511's. I'd like to be able to use this for mic pres and for summing. Does anyone know if this unit would work for those needs.

I have seen this exact auction run more than a dozen times in the past year and have personally reported it as fraudulent many times. The pics and verbiage never changes...how can you ever forget "HERE WE HAVE A NICE PRO AUDIO WET DREAM"?

I sold this board to dan alexander a couple years ago. I would love to get it back!!! The 511t module is a MIC/Line module API made. That console you are talking about used to be a in a local radio station. The board has 18 Mic Pres and 18 line amps. When I sold it it needed some minor restoration. I would really really like to ge it back now that I have the time to do it.
