uptown fader automation

Hi.

Does everyone know if there is still any kind of support for the uptown automation systems-
I have a neotek consule fitted with a 24 ch uptown system it works perfectly and im very happy for it, but lately one fader (ch20) is starting to have it´s own life, in the middle of at mix it sometimes start to make small fast movements up and down that i have not written in a pass, it just suddently do it by it self.

I've got a 990 system also. I contacted them a year or so back and ordered their latest computer (rackmountable) and the latest software update. They were very helpful and our system has been rock solid.

Wow- really?? How much was the computer... who did you contact?
I have a 990 system and would love to think there was backup out there for me.
I have a 56ch system only sometimes the computer only sees 48- it's fine and keeps going with just the 48 but it'd be nice to get them all working reliably one day!

I'll have to look it up at the studio, but I think there were a couple of Uptown employees that were kept on when the company was sold to ATI. You might also check in with the guys at Vertigo. They're the ones that make all the burnishing tools for patchbays. I seem to remember they had a relationship with the Uptown guys.

Uptown is now owned by ATI which also owns API. They should be fully supporting it.
