Thread Starter | question regarding sound cards pre amp vs my pre amp k some one told me not to upgrade my ff400 to 800 if my only reason for upgrading are the pre amp's (haveing that the 800 ones are better...) i have a blue robbie and this person told me it whould be useles to upgrade cause i wont be jacking the robbie into the ff xlr any way but to the trs... and that if i WILL jack it to the xlr thus using the ff preamps i will lower the qulity...and thats not something i want to do.. my question is...IS THIS TRUE...WHERE U GEARSLUTZ hooking your preamps to (the sound cards preamp or trs) and what are the reasons thx alot. |
