Please Grade My Setup

I dont have a picture, its a real simple set up though. The acoustics are good so do not worry about that aspect.

Basically its a Neumann TL 103...

And an Mbox2 mini...

I am just using it for hiphop vocals.

Please use this grading scale

A+ = Perfect!

D+

F- = Turd sandwich

no its all personal, just for me alone. not charging anyone. Just vocals alone.

do not worry about the room, its already good for acoustics. I just wanna know quality wise, basically (1) is that Neumann selection good? (2) How much of the overall quality will be kept with the sound goes through the preamp of the Mbox2 mini.

Turd Sandwich.

If your only doing vocal dubs. Get a pre, get some other mic options, get outboard compressors.
Dont ask me which ones, try some out and hear for yourself what suits your sound.

If your doing full production....get a 2nd job and start saving.
