Thread Starter | Speakers for a small space to make techno with?
My friend, who makes techno and whose studio is in a very small space, was asking me for speaker recommendations. He'd like to spend around $1000, used or new. Any suggestions? Some actives that I've come up with so far: Dynaudio BM6a or BM5a Adam A7 mackie 824 or 624 Blue sky (not sure which one is best) JBL LSR4328 The Adams get great reviews on gearslutz, but will a 6.5 inch woofer be enough for making bass-heavy music? |

Definitely the BM6A with extended dynamics, neutral, great transparent and dynamic sound. You will not fry the tweeter so easily. Very robust. Check an ABES subwoofer though as a later extension to be totally happy. |
