Hi, it doesn't have a very long delay time. It has buttons for sets of delays you can turn on, but they are all more like tight delays. each set a little longer than the first. You can turn up the feedback to simulate a reverb. These don't sound so great but are good for an effect sometimes. Where I think it excells are on short fattening type setups and to add a little space on really dry things without being obvious. There's a setting called fatty that is great on a vocal. The comb filter settings are great too and you can tune them using the feedback and delay time settings. The converters only go to around 7 Khz, but that's part of the sound. It has onboard high and low pass filters that are great for fitting the effect into a track, sometimes they're good to run something through just to eq it with the filters. A great piece, but not a replacement for a normal delay.

You might want to check out the newer Ursa Major that the original designer released about a year ago. It's got all the old algorithms from the original box plus some new ones that are probably more useful as actual modern delays and reverbs.

I'm sure someone will chime in with a link. I'm too lazy to search today.
