I remember seeing this and smelling a rat. Didn't get one. Can't remember any more than that.

As a U87 clone (it's probably nothing of the sort anyway), IMO, if it isn't plastered all over the Web, then it's probably cr@p.

Gosh!

You gotta love that box though. Looks pretty deluxe......there is probably still a pencil underneath the mic that wasnt taken out.

It's funny to me to see this on eBay.

I've it on Los Angeles craigslist for 2 weeks. To me, the MXL is a cheap knock-off of the u87, 67, 47 whatever large condenser have you.

Beats me.
