AEA r84s and A Designs MP-2A Baroque Trumpet

Piccolo trumpet (Bach Trumpet), Baroque trumpet, whatever you want to call it - here it is by one of the world's best players through a pair of R84 mics and an A Designs MP-2a pre. None of that chain has a lot of high end, yet I would not want any more on this trumpet. Check out the wav file of a partial song just recorded last evening.

Jeff Luke. A great guy as well.

When you are in the room with him playing - it is unbelievable.
