Help me build my studio (Long term project)

Ok... So this board is bad for my GAS... I've already built the room for my studio, but it's not quite done yet (I still have to take over the rest of that floor...) So, structure and electrical aside, I need help populating the studio.

Obviously I have my own not-so-humble opinions and preferences, (I am of course an opinionated bastige ), but my opinions are so obviously biased, I'm searching for some others...

So I'm asking you to help me build my studio. In the following categories:

-Acoustic Treatment
-Console
-Outboard
-Mic closet
-Studio furniture
-Monitoring
-Cabling and patching

Or anything else you can think of.

The control room as it exists now is about 13x13ft with 8ft cielings. The tracking room will probably be 13x15ft, not totally ideal for tracking drums, but primarily i will be tracking other instruments, with only occasional drum tracking.

My thinking now is to go with either a ProTools or Radar core (I'm leaning towards Radar) and to track with the ins of the recorder normalled to the desk. The one reason I'm thinking protools is mainly because I like the idea of mixing in the box in terms of mix recall and automation (I'm not sure i'll have the budget for an automated desk) and I can't rememeber if Radar has any automation/envelope functions.

I'm wide open. I'm looking 24ch desk and a focus on a few good pieces of outboard rather than a lot of gear.

I dont have a budget in mind, but my plan is to build this more slowly a piece or two at a time rather then drive myself (further) into debt with one massive expenditure.

This is a long term project, but I'd like to get some ideas and opinions from everyone here, and track the progress here as I go. I'd like to spend the next few weeks coming up with a solid gear list to budget off of.

So any suggestions, questions for clairification, anything... Help me spend some money and build my Gearslutz Collaborative Studio
