sd2 files to wav files... HELP!

sd2 files to wav files... HELP!

I need to convert sd2 files to wav files.......in pro tools.......but my pc won't let me do it in pro tools. is there other free software that will convert them? thanks!

I work in PT always as WAV - and importing SD2 automatically converts it. Curious what you are doing that is less easy?

better is "digiconv" - i had too many issues with sd2wav

What issues? Haven't had any reports? Although sd2wav is a different program to sdTwoWav..?

Lou, are you on a Mac? I believe the OP is on a PC. It may be a PC/Mac issue as IIRC PC's don't like SDII files. When you are on a Mac and select "mac-pc compatability" in PT it greys out the SDII option.

Ah, yes. I am on Mac, and haven't used sd2 in so long I forgot. Still makes me just wonder were the sd2 came from, especially in PC world...

When I started using PT it only worked on Mac, I never switched.
