Apogee Ensemble preamps vs ULN-2 preamps

Has anyone compared the Apogee Ensemble preamps with the Metric Halo ULN-2 preamps (ULN-2, not 2882!)?

there should just be a sticky for one of these MH vs Apogee threads because there's a shitload now. Just based on what i've read though the ULN 2 has better pres. Check out the new Tape Op for an interview with the Metric Halo guys, I really respect them and after all my research, i plan on getting a ULN2 over the Ensemble myself. I just wish MH's logo wasn't so damn ugly, if i were going just for looks, i'd get the Ensemble.

Thanks for replying - actually I've checked most of the Apogee vs MH threads and they seem to mostly focus on the difference between the A/D conversion, rather than the preamps. I already own a ULN-2 and I'm thinking about increasing my preamp count so I'm toying with either an Ensemble or another ULN-2. I'd like comparable quality pres to the ULN-2's ones.
