Anyone using Apogee Ensemble with Symphony?

Since there isn't an Ensemble-like interface yet for the Symphony system, and I have a MacBook Pro anyway, am thinking of adding the ensemble for additional inputs to my Rosetta800/Symphony (8 i/o into is just not enough).

Anyone doing this? It says in their faq yes...just wondering how this affects Symphony's super low latency and if I get all those ins and outs to show up in Digital Performer in addition to the Rosetta i/o.

Ok, next question...exactly how many people here actually bought a Symphony card? Ensemble...seems like a lot. Symphony...not a whole lot of chatter here or a couple other forums I visit.

Dear Apogee,

Please make an Ensemble-like interface for the Symphony system.

If you build it, they will come.

Oh, and I will buy one too.

Yours Truly,

Thanks guys...I might have to be the first I guess to combine the two. I really hate that, chances are something isn't gonna work right. Ah well, who knows, maybe THIS time it will actually work as advertised from the get go.

I'm really looking forward to that update where you can use another mac as a farm cpu by sticking a Symphony card in there, bypassing any converters. I think that would really set this system far apart from anything else out there.
