Totally great. Love it.

Pretty hilarious. Great to see how someone else works.

And really a treat to see a person put together a groove so quickly without agonizing over which pre to use. No BS, love it!

Thanks for going to the trouble.

Best to you.

Cheers.

that's a good video, thanks for posting it. Nuendo doesn't look half bad either, but DFH really caught my eye...

Great job on the vid. Fun to watch someone else to their thing. DFH also caught my attention. Cool program.

Neundo looks so foriegn to me! Kinda cool though.

I'm using Samplitude 8 and haven't really tried out the MIDI all that much. So right now I'm messing with DFH2 in Samp, and most of it's working like it was in your video... but I was wondering if someone knows if it's possible to have each drum listed like it was in the video, so I can induvidually effect each one. As it is, I can only add a plug and have it effect the entire kit.

For example, the OP added Drumagog to the kick and snare to liven up the samples, but say if I add Drumagog, each hit will all have the same sample, so I've got say a snare triggered in Drumagog for the kick, snare, and hats.

did you use 2 mics on the amp? also what's the point of 4 tracks if they're just copied versions of the first 2? Also, why not leave the mix on the reverb at 100% and just turn the group channel lower in volume?

Thanks for the videos! I enjoyed them.

Is there a place where I might be able to get the Sneap samples and presets that were used in the videos?

Thank you Han.

Some points first : i made a mistake indeed in thevidoe by copying the tracks.
I normally record 4 times, sometimes eve 2 different amps to gat a massive metal sound ( check out my master of puppters cover at my myspace.com/mendelb ) 2 different amps 2 left right.

I will upload the vidz soon again. This time on my own server ( mendelb.com )

Everyone have a merry christmas and a happy new year :D !!

greetings,

Mendel

It appears that the FTP of andy sneap has been closed due legal reasons.
The problem is i don't have the video's on my pc anymore.

I will do a final search but if i can't find anything i will have to make a new one. This time with a better microphone and hopefully a camera of me playing guitar.

Greetings,

Mendel

Nice Master of Puppets cover..

Did you tweak that bassdrum yourself from DFHS or did you use a sample?

As safe and clean as abstinence...

But you should still run virus detection on anything you download... you can embed viruses in any executables... clean source file or not

stupid question, but what is the best way to capture screenshots like that?

BTW, I'm surprised how much the GUI for Nuendo looks like Samplitude. I haven't seen or used Nuendo in a long time.
