Anyone ever clock a Benchmark dac1 to a bigben or other external clock

I have never tried this, but there are many reasons why using an external clock is inferior, unless the original devices clock is that bad. Being that the Benchmark is a very good quality convertor trying to clock it externally is a mistake.

You can't slave a DAC-1. It is always reclocking it's inputs. It has no WC I/O either for this very reason: there's no need
