Thread Starter | Roland Chorus Echo Repair in London?
Hey everyone, I have just been given a Roland Chorus Echo, Model RE-501. Like the space echo but less desirable i think! anyway really excited to get this thing going, I dont exactly know whats wrong with it but the tape is not moving inside, just wonder inf anyone knows of somewhere in london that can repair / service these things? Thanks! Blue

A 501 is not less desirable. It's probably more, just more rare. It has many features that the others don't have. I believe it has a SOS knob, xlr connectors, chorus, reverb, etc....great box. It was actually the top of the line. There was one other model, the 555 that was the same thing, just in a rack mount version, not in the little freestanding box. Anyway, anyone that works on electronics or tape decks can usually work on these. Contact the guys at Funky Junk to see if they can recomend someone. m |

wow exciting, so these are more rare... i tried the chorus out yesterday with my guitar and it sounded wonderful.. can wait to get the echo going again!! I natrually thought the space echo was the more desirable purely becasue they are the most famous of the bunch! thanks for the info, i will try mark at funky junk! thanks again |
