The Alex is one of Harvey Gersts recommended pieces. The TC M300 runs around 199.00 and does some nice things.

If you like the Lexicon sound try the MPX 110--or look around --you may be able to find a used MPX 500 for about that price.

I still use my Quadraverb 2 and I think it has some pretty good reverbs for the price...

Check the ITR web site, and you'll find more than one listed among the studio gear.

No, the Quad2 is a full rack unit. You can save custom presets on it so you don't have to use presets exclusively. It is, however, a bitch to program.

The LXP-1 is dark sounding. Maybe you're confusing clean with dark?

"The LXP-1 is dark sounding. Maybe you're confusing clean with dark?" Could be, I was referring to sound and noise, although both units were quite noisy
At any rate I found the Lxp-1 more useful.
