1 Select the picture.
2 File--> Export
3 Choose a valid Format (JPG is pretty safe)
4 under "Size" choose "scale images no larger than" and enter a new size.
5 Choose a destination and name for the file.

voila!

After re-sizing, you can select the file, and hit command-i to see the file size in KB (or you can bring it up in an organized finder window)

Those tumbnails are auto generated by the forum software (its a new thing we need to do for memory space) clicking on them will 'super size" them..

As an abstract thought, what if you had a drum kit that got bigger with each hit?

Why doesn't this work for older posts? Pictures posted earlier don't even appear as thumbnails, just as links...

How did the 18" and 20" floor toms record?
I've had good luck getting them to sound good live, but in the studio, I've had problems.
What mics and pres did you use?
Thanks!

Always interesting to see what you get with unusual sizes. The drummer I gigged with on Saturday had a 29" stand alone kick that was his dad's from the "30's, and a 10" snare. I had a play after soundcheck, and couldn't believe how satisfying it was.

Sorry to hijack, just thought it related pretty well.
