At what height monitors.?

i'm finding i'm getting more highs the lower i sit.

I've got a pair of 824's. the top of the tweeter is at ear level.

is this normal? should the woofers be at ear level?

Monitor level.

15 degrees up or down i was told is standard. Subs on the other hand can go anywhere - or so they say. Can cause resonance problems in your room though so your better off judging by ear. If you can - Get a loan of a flat responce mic, Download the demo version of MLSSA (i think!?! - pernounced melissa) read up on it and set up your room. (put the mic at head position. blah blah....). Did it at home my self and moving the sub made a big diffrence so give it a try.

The spot between tweeters and woofers should be on hight of the ears.
