we had this kind of thread several times.. one of the biggest is in computermusic

next step is, some slutz will complain why their DAW is not in the list..then there is a long discussion why cubase and steinberg are evil... manning will show up and will try to make you believe in REAPER (I like it manning.. cheers) and maybe we will have another digidesign protools bashing (witch is fun, but not necessary ). at the end we will have a religiousconflict like in middle-east with less bombings and less wounded or killed people because there is no oil and only DAW.

enjoy your thread

LOL. Well, for me, it's PT HD all the way. The quality and selection of plugs, client demands, and market saturation make it a no brainer.

You got Ableton Live but you don't have Samplitude....
Maybe someone should write a list of all the DAW's and put it up in case someone wants to do a poll like this. Not that we really need them.

I use SawStudio.

Check...

So I'll Move On:

Pro Tools Is The Devil's Audio Weasel <<(Hey DAW) Once Again DigiDesign Have Forced Me To Use Their Inferior Product Because No Other DAW Is Licenced To Accept Their TDM/RTAS Plugins - And FX Pansion Refuse To Be Moral Guevaras' - Because They Know Good & Well They Could Release An RTAS - VST/DX Wrapper, But They Haven Been Threatened By The Legal Stronghold Restraints Of Big Business & Their Legal Work-*****s... To Hell With DigiDesign & Their Metaphorical Hamster-Wheel Sequencer... To Hell!!!... & Umm... Could You Guys At Digidesign Please Release A Stable CS Release Once In Your Lives & Maybe, Just Maybe Learn To Program A Decent WaveDriver I Mean C'mon Guys It's Been Like 5 Years... Ever Heard Of "Cross-Compatability?" Your Not Microsoft, This Isn't A Monopoly - It's More Like The Tall Kid Holding The Junior Highs Kids Milk Above His Head... ADAPTATION Is Golden... SO MOVE IT...

Oh... I Use Pro Tools...

Doesn't Mean i have To Like It Dammit!!

I tried using a free copy of Cubase LE while I was waiting for Digital performer to arrive, but it was so buggy for me that I gave Garageband a go. Surprisingly handy for a free program.
