Synths used on Michael Jackson's Bad

Hi All. I'm lookin for synth/sounds used on MJ's album Bad, and especially the stabs like on Another Part of Me and on the song Bad. Also what do you guys think is really typical of an MJ song productionwise. Recently i found the special editions of Bad and Thriller and i;m tryin to find out what gives it the distinctive sound! All links on articles on the production of the albums are also welcome! thnx!

As far as I remember Eric Persing from Spectrasonics also did synth programming on Bad. You could try asking him.
If you're also interested about production read Bruce Swedien's Guest moderator archive threads.

Here's a question for Bruce: What does Michael Jackson's unreleased tracked titled "Don't Be Messin' Around" sound like? Why was it never released? Did it end up becoming another track? Was it meant for Thriller? Some info on the track ans it quotes Bruce in the article.
