CM Labs Motor Mate and Motor Mix users

Hi!!
Anybody here using a CMlabs controller? any advice? anything great o wrong?
I am looking to get a CM Labs Motor Mate.

Had two they work but seem to pack up after a while. Theres some hardware firmware changes to do on some of them when used with Protools.

The Motor Mix 1 is great. I've been using a unit I picked up used on Ebay. I use it as a small/portable control surface that I can take with me between studios. Every studio I'm at uses Pro Tools and the Motor Mix/PT combo works very well. It requires the occasional on/off reset, but overall it's very reliable.

Mine worked with protools but

since it couldn't do MCU protocol

when I started producing with Ableton Live it was useless.
