Buzz comp or Distressor?

I'd really like to hear some opinions on which comp you would buy first.

I have narrowed it down to a Buzz Audio SOC comp or a distressor.

I currently own a Drawmer mx 30 and an Art pro VLA. I produce/ record mainly rock and accoustic music. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i mean they both do their own things... Distressor does alot of stuff the soc can't and the soc does alot of stuff the distressor can't

That being said... Overall I like the smoothness of the soc more than almost anything.. Plus it's one of the fastsest opticals ever...

The soc has a nice vibe to it... It's clean, but it definately has a huge vibe and i couldn't track/mix without it

How does the Buzz compare to the Drawmer 1968? They are about the same price.

Thanks for the feed back. I was leaning towards the buzz anyway. Plus I work about three blocks from the buzz factory. Good times

I have a drawmer 1968 too... As far as color goes, they are pretty similar in my opinion... Pretty euphonic and fat sounding.. But still different animals all together
