I highly recommend the SSL Talkback mic plugin for this purpose. If that doesn't work, I'd try a Sansamp, or another guitar amp-modelling plugin.

Lowpass filter. Send the tracks to a cassette deck. Just play around. It's easy to lofi things. It's hard to do the opposite.

The drums come out of EZDrummer pre-processed and, therefore, sounding quite good. Unfortunately, the drum sound I am looking for: Bright Eyes, Pedro the Lion, etc. is a lot more lo-fi. Are there any tools or processes that I can use the make the EZDrummer sounds more lo-fi? ie. make that snare more boxy and less sparkley, make the kick warmer, etc.

Damn, never thought of this. nice one! better yet: i have a presonus central station! the talkback mic on that remote is pretty awfull. the worst i ever heard, even for a tallback mic...it should do an intersting job! Destroying is much more fun than fighting for a polished tone. Like playground time!!!I love it.
